SimCraft announced today a North American distributorship for SimuCube and SimuCube 2 Direct Drive Force Feedback technology from Granite Devices in Finland. The company will begin supplying SimuCube products direct to customers in North America.
“We’ve been using SimuCube in our APEX professional racing simulator units for the last 2 years”, said SimCraft CTO Sean Patrick MacDonald, “and we are excited about this technology and what it contibutes to racing simulators in general. Force Feedback tech has seen a rapid pace of advancement in the last 5 years and it appears proven that the direct drive approach affords the highest level of realism and fidelity.”
SimCraft plans to offer an integrated, plug and play, system with SimuCube 1 later this summer. Testing has also started on SimuCube 2 which is a more integrated system than its predecessor and is expected to be available for purchase this Spring 2019.
