Jordan Taylor, SimCraft Factory Driver
Jordan Taylor, the 27-year-old younger son of team owner Wayne Taylor, returns to the team for the seventh consecutive season in 2019 with his second-year full-time co-driver Renger van der Zande. The duo finished third in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship behind their victory at the season-ending Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta, four podium finishes in all. That season came on the heels of Taylor’s second career Prototype-class driver championship in his last of four consecutive seasons co-driving with his older brother Ricky. The 2017 championship season started with an incredible five consecutive victories – including the iconic Rolex 24 At Daytona and 12 Hours of Sebring events – as the Taylor brothers debuted the all-new No. 10 Konica Minolta Cadillac DPi-V.R. Prior to his four-year run with his older brother, Taylor co-drove with veteran Italian Max “The Ax” Angelelli to the championship in the final season of the Grand-Am Rolex SportsCar Series in 2013. Taylor also co-drove the factory Chevrolet Corvette C6.R ZR1 to victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June 2015 after a runner-up finish in 2014. Taylor scored a second series championship in 2017, driving a Cadillac ATS-V.R coupe to a Pirelli World Challenge title during the six-race SprintX portion of the schedule. Prior to the 2019 season, Taylor has 20 victories and 44 podium finishes in 112 sportscar races since his Rolex Series debut in 2008.
