SimCraft selected to host the July meeting for The Peachtree Chapter of the BMW CCA
07/31/2009 APEX sc830 is the ultimate virtual driving machine
Marietta, GA (July 31, 2009) -- SimCraft hosted the BMW Peachtree Chapter’s monthly meeting on July 25, 2009, at its corporate office in Marietta, Georgia.
SimCraft set-up APEX sc830 simulators for the Chapter members to test drive during the meeting. The drivers got to experience first hand the realism of the sc830 simulators, which were specifically engineered for professional drivers.
The APEX sc830 features center-of-mass rotation that is instrumental in providing the driver with a true-to-life racing experience. The driver experiences three degrees of freedom (roll 40° / pitch 25° / yaw 40°) providing realistic car racing forces with software integrations to more than 20 racing titles.
This top end sim from SimCraft has a super-strong and lightweight tubular chromoly steel framework creating the stiffest chassis design. Its strength and stability allow for unmatched performance and a higher standard in durability and incredible longevity. Incorporating five years of chassis design knowledge, the APEX sc830 chassis features a double-wishbone design with optimized geometry and a custom powder finish.
About SimCraft The SimCraft story began in 1997 with an idea; born from the late William MacDonald; for a balanced mass architecture to reduce the need for expensive high force actuation. By mid-2003, Sean Patrick MacDonald, the founder’s son, began a complete refinement on what is now established as the proprietary SimCraft architecture.
